Megan serves as executive director for Medicaid Strategy at Providence. She has led community benefit program evaluation, grants management, developed collaborative community health needs assessments with public health partners and other health systems, and built partnerships with community-based organizations. She is passionate about ensuring equitable access to the care and services people need to be healthy and addressing the systemic barriers that get in the way. Project Access NOW was a part of Megan’s life from a young age, as her father was amongst the early physician partners providing donated care for Project Access NOW clients. Prior to her time at Providence, Megan spent time working in global health in Uganda, Chad, and Geneva, Switzerland and has served on other local boards.
Megan received her master’s of science in demography & health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and her master’s of business administration from Oregon Health & Sciences University and Portland State University. When not working, chances are you can find Megan training for her next triathlon, downhill skiing, or spending time outside with her family.
